Algeria Telecom and Djezzy official sponsors of the « Crossing the Bay of Algiers » event
Algeria Telecom and Djezzy are delighted to announce their partnership as official sponsors of the sporting event, the "Crossing the Bay of Algiers". This emblematic event is organized this August 3, 2024 by the Swimming League of Algiers under the aegis of the Youth, Sports and Leisure Department of the wilaya of Algiers.
The freestyle swimming race kicked off on the "Sablettes" beach in the presence of the heads of the two sponsoring companies, VIP guests and representatives of the authorities of the wilaya of Algiers.
Competitors set off over a distance of 7500 metres towards the "Marina" beach to the east of Algiers. This initiative, the second of its kind after the successful one organized in 2023, not only highlighted the talents of Algerian swimmers, but also underlined the importance of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.
